Hudson Valley

In Ulster County, less than 90 minutes from Midtown Manhattan, lies a 250,000-acre playground, with 35 peaks and 350 miles of growing trails, including access to the world-famous Walkway Over the Hudson and Catskill Park. Hiking, biking, kayaking, windsurfing, golfing, fishing, skiing, snowshoeing — outdoor adventure awaits year-round. But you don’t have to go outdoors to have a good time. For a quick and easy way to explore the county’s scenic beauty, jump aboard the Nature Bus. Over in Westchester County, the Wolf Conservation Center’s mission is to advance the survival of wolves by inspiring a global community through education, advocacy, research, and recovery. The WCC goals to generate Respect, Community Awareness and Passion for this vital breed through a broad range of up-close and personal experiences throughout the year. Wolf camp outs, evening howls, walks with wolves are some of the most popular experiences available to the public.

Explore Finger Lakes
New York's Finger Lakes are a destination for all four seasons. Featuring 11 pristine lakes in the heart of upstate New York, the region offers the ideal vacation, weekend getaway, business trip or overnight. The Finger Lakes is just a short drive and a must as part of visits to major population centers
including New York City, Toronto, Boston, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, Cleveland and more.
Visiting the outdoors is a primary reason to visit, from hiking and biking, to boating and fishing as well as many NY State Parks with incomparable scenic beauty with many stunning waterfalls such as Watkins Glen State Park with its gorge trail (19 waterfalls), Letchworth State Park's Inspiration Point or the majestic 215-foot cascade of Taughannock Falls.
Niagara Falls
Every evening beginning at dusk, Niagara Falls is illuminated in an array of colors. Almost 10 years ago, the Niagara Falls Illumination Board launched an ambitious project to replace Xenon lights with new LED technology, increasing both the display’s brightness and energy efficiency. Please note, all illumination times are approximate and subject to change according to light conditions.
