Culinary Adventure Cooking School In Fredericksburg, Texas

Though it was opened in 2016, the vision for the school was conceptualized over 40 years ago when Case Fischer & Mark Wieser began building their specialty food business out of the family peach orchard behind Das Peach Haus.
“I went to work for Mark when I was 15 years old” Case Fischer, Fischer & Wieser CEO said, “and I was completely drawn in by the experience that people had when they would visit the store and farm from Houston or Dallas, try the fresh fruit and take home jams and jellies made from that ripe fruit from the orchard. I realized that we were literally bottling the Hill Country experience that they could take home with them and share with others. That was really my inspiration for wanting to get into the food business.”
As Fischer & Wieser grew over the years, creating new products and expanding into segments beyond jams and jellies into sauces, mustards and more, Case and Mark always held onto the dream of expanding the experience at the farm and having more opportunities for people to come and spend time there. Fischer & Wieser’s Culinary Adventure Cooking School is part of that dream.   The airy and inviting classroom looks out over the pine trees, pond and peach orchard behind Das Peach Haus. In order to accommodate customers safely during the pandemic, we have moved to private classes and limited group events to 20 people. Our chefs can create custom menus, perform demonstration or hands-on classes, and also accommodate dietary restrictions. Some favorite class themes include German cuisine, Spanish Tapas, Pasta Making and Wine Pairing.
“Our mission at Fischer & Wieser is to create flavorful experiences that make people happy”, Fischer said, “and what better way to do that than to inspire you by showing you how to create these experiences for yourself in your own home?”
Since then, Fischer & Wieser has expanded their catalog to over 150 products that are distributed throughout the United States, Mexico and beyond. In addition, the company also manufactures the award-winning line of Mom’s spaghetti sauces, soups and pizza sauces and Dr. Foo's Kitchen line of Thai cooking sauces. For more information, please visit www.Jelly.com and their Instagram and Facebook.
