- Established in 1992 as the North American
seat of His Holiness the 14th Dali Lama’s monastery and is home to
several Tibetan monks. They host an
annual two week Kalachakra Retreat each summer and recently added a week long
retreat in the spring. The monastery
offers weekend intensives on a variety of subjects in Tibetan Buddhism, as well
as evening classes in fall and spring.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, the monks lead meditation and
prayer that is free and open to all.

from traditional yoga alongside contemporary techniques so students can master
the art of being full participants in their lives. Whether interest lies in learning more
intensively about how to do, teach or understand yoga, students will emerge
