Austin Festival Season Builds Towards Austin City Limits Fest

Austin, the Live Music Capital of the World, continues to cement its global reputation with the return of the 25th edition of Austin City Limits Music Festival. Held over the first two weekends of October every year, just ahead of the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas, the festival draws music fans from across the globe to experience the city's quirky charm and some of its 300 days of sunshine each year.

Returning from October 2nd to 4th and October 9th to 11th, 2026, ACL Fest brings more than 100 artists to nine stages across Zilker Park, a 350 acre urban oasis just minutes from downtown. Beyond the festival grounds, the park is home to Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Botanical Garden, the Austin Nature and Science Center, and stretches of the 10 mile Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail, making it one of the city's most beloved green spaces. While ACL Fest is arguably the city's biggest draw, it represents just one chapter in Austin's year round live music story. As the festival marks 25 years in 2026, Austin's broader festival scene continues to show why it remains one of the most influential music capitals in the world, blending major international events with deeply rooted local culture in a way few destinations can match.
