Boston's Iconic Cinematic Locations

Relive the intense drama of Good Will Hunting, written by Boston locals Matt Damon and Ben Affleck as you stroll through Harvard Square, or immerse yourself in the gritty atmosphere of The Departed while exploring the city's South Boston neighbourhood. Fans of Mystic River can revisit the hauntingly beautiful spots that brought this masterpiece to life, while those who love the heist thrillers of The Town will feel the adrenaline of Boston’s North End.
The famous Fenway Park is featured towards the end of the Brad Pitt starring, Oscar- nominated Moneyball while the Freedom Trail Line features in The Departed. Visitors can take a tour of these famous movie locations by taking the Boston Movie Mile Walking tour or the Boston TV and Movie Bus Tour where they catch a glimpse of the buildings used in famous shows like Boston Legal and Ally McBeal and the streets of that famous chase sequence in The Town.
But Boston isn’t just about drama; comedy fans can’t miss revisiting the hilarious hijinks of Ted, the laugh-out-loud buddy film that captures the quirky side of Boston like no other and stars Boston local, Mark Wahlberg. No trip to Boston is complete without the obligatory selfie by the Cheers pub sign on the corner of Boston Common.
