Queer Wine Fest Returns to Oregon to Celebrate LGBTQ+ Winemakers and Community

Wine lovers and members of the LGBTQ+ community will once again gather in Oregon’s renowned Willamette Valley as Queer Wine Fest returns for another vibrant celebration of queer wine culture and community. The annual festival will take place on Sunday, 28 June 2026, bringing together producers and guests from across the United States for a joyful outdoor tasting experience.
Hosted at Remy Wines in Dayton, Oregon, Queer Wine Fest is a one-of-a-kind event dedicated to showcasing wines that are queer-owned, queer-made or queer-grown. The festival brings together more than 20 wineries with LGBTQ+ leadership for a relaxed walk-around tasting that highlights the diversity and creativity of the American wine industry.
Founded in 2022 by Oregon winemaker Remy Drabkin, Queer Wine Fest is widely recognised as the first wine festival created specifically to highlight wineries led by LGBTQ+ professionals, helping to shine a spotlight on the people shaping a more inclusive future for the wine world.
Set beneath the oak trees surrounding the Remy Wines farmhouse tasting room, the festival combines wine tasting with live entertainment and immersive cultural experiences. Guests can enjoy live music, queer-led catering and creative activations ranging from performances to pop-up experiences including gender-affirming haircuts and flash tattoos, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that celebrates both wine and queer culture. The weekend kicks off with a Penthouse Party on Saturday June 27, held at Atticus Hotel in McMinnville, with winemakers and artists.
Beyond the celebration, Queer Wine Fest also supports a meaningful cause. Proceeds from the event benefit Wine Country Pride, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organisation dedicated to creating visible celebrations of the LGBTQ+ community while fostering education, connection and economic activity in Oregon wine country.
Now firmly established as one of the most unique events in the U.S. wine calendar, Queer Wine Fest continues to bring together winemakers, industry professionals and wine enthusiasts in a space that celebrates authenticity, diversity and joy.
From humble beginnings when a handful of pioneering growers first planted vines in the Willamette Valley, Oregon’s wine industry has flourished to include more than 1,100 wineries across 22 distinct growing regions. Find out more on Oregon’s wineries here.
