Day 1 - Arrive in Houston; nicknamed Space City, it is the home of NASA & the Johnson Space Centre.
Day 3 - San Antonio is a Texan city with a Spanish flavour. Be sure to check out the Alamo monument to the battle that took place here in 1836
Day 5 - Spend 3 nights at a real ranch to get a real taste of cowboy culture. You might love it so much, you may not want to leave!
Day 8 - Fredericksburg might be Texas' best kept secrets; it is home to some amazing award winning wineries and home to US president Lyndon Johnson.
Day 9 - Austin might be the state capital and a bustling university town but it very much has a small town feel. It is also home to the largest urban bat colony in the world.
Day 11 - Western heritage roams freely in Fort Worth, where cattle drives are a twice-daily occurrence. Make sure to take a trip on the Tarantula Train along the Grapevine Vintage Railroad to experience the Stockyards National Historic District.
Day 12 - Dallas is a vibrant and sophisticated city with a fantastic nightlife and shopping scene and more restaurants per capita than New York City.
Day 14 - Huntsville is centred by a historic downtown square which is lined with unique eateries. Be sure to visit the Texas Prison Museum & the Sam Houston Memorial Museum.
Day 15 - With 30 miles of beaches, Galveston is a perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of your trip!
