US Virgin Islands

America's Paradise

The U.S. Virgin Islands is comprised of three main islands: St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas, each a magnificent tropical environment offering a unique array of experiences. St. Croix, the largest of the three islands, lies entirely within the Caribbean Sea and is characterized by cultural diversity. Pastel buildings and charming shops can be seen in the historic towns of Christiansted and Frederiksted, while the island’s emerald waters, powdery sands and rolling green hills remain just as Columbus first discovered them when he arrived in 1493. Two-thirds of St. John, the smallest of the three islands, enjoys designation as a protected US national park with hilly green land and an underwater reserve. St. John’s world-renowned beaches include the lovely Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay and Maho Bay.

The most cosmopolitan of the U.S. Virgin Islands is lively St. Thomas, which offers sophisticated dining and tempting duty-free shopping. Charlotte Amalie is a bustling harbour town full of fine restaurants and quaint shops. St. Thomas’ picturesque Magens Bay is ideal for a relaxing afternoon retreat. The U.S. Virgin Islands promises toptier accommodation, ranging from eco-friendly lodging at the Maho Bay Camp Grounds on St. John to the glamorous Ritz-Carlton on St. Thomas.
