The roads leading to it were built using material that had been illegally dumped in the disused quarry. The venue, which has hosted top performers including Santana, the Smashing Pumpkins, Lana Del Ray, Noel Gallagher and Robert Plant, is plastic-free and all food is served in biodegradable containers. FOREVERGLADES Sustainability efforts in Florida’s Everglades include action to reduce its carbon footprint and a restoration project to protect the ecosystem from climate change and pollution. Solar energy is being used at some facilities while sites have introduced waste reduction methods including eliminating plastic bottles and switching to biodieselpowered tour trams. The park offers information to visitors to encourage climatefriendly behavior and raise awareness about the impacts of climate change on the park.
