Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site is well worth a
visit. Home to a World War I era Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm, the park
offers families a snapshot into what life was like for former president Johnson’s

1.2 miles of walking trails, a visitor centre and a range of sports facilities
including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, making it an ideal destination for a

lead activities such as spinning handweaving, storytelling, soap-making and
more, inviting the whole family to explore, learn and connect with the town’s

National Museum of the Pacific War, which invites kids to adopt a STEM focused learning approach

No trip to Fredericksburg is complete without sampling the
towns German cuisine.
The Old German Bakery and Restaurant on Main Street offers
kids the choice of German classics such as pancakes served with applesauce, as
well as kitchen staples such as chicken strips and corndogs.
