This is a gorgeous campground right next to the glacier-fed Wenatchee Lake and
River. The river bisects the camping area at Lake Wenatchee.

toilets, a market are all on site. The park has showers, water and
electric sites and restrooms. The five-mile-long lake is open for swimmers,
kayakers, windsurfers, and stand-up paddlers.
2. Timberlake Campground & RV
Located 50 miles east of the Vancouver area in the Columbia River Gorge, this
campground offers sites on an upper and lower loop. With its wooded
environment, this feels like a remote corner of the world, but you still have electrical,
sewer, and water hookups.

visitors fire pits, a dump station on site, picnic tables, a market, and
restrooms and showers.
3. Larrabee State Park Campground
On the banks of the Samish Bay near Bellingham, Washington, Larrabee has
picture-postcard views of the bay and the San Juan Islands.

locations for camping within Deception Pass,
and Cranberry Lake is best suited for RVs, with limited availability for
extra-long rigs.
