Raise a glass to the best of American beer, wine and spirits at these brilliant festivals! 

 

Great American Beer Festival, Denver

You can choose from over 3,500 different beers from more than 800 of the America’s best breweries at the largest beer festival in the world, pictured right. This weekend event in Denver, Colorado represents the largest collection of US beer ever served, in both a public tasting event plus a private competition. The weekend event in September brings together brewers and beers from across the country. Start celebrating early at the nine-day Denver Beer Fest leading up to the main event with beer-related events at local breweries, restaurants, tap houses and attractions around the city, from beer street parties to midnight beer brunches. 

 

Savor Idaho Food and Wine Festival

Celebrate Idaho’s wine country at this food and wine festival in the state capital, Boise. Set in the Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise, this June event hosted by Idaho Grape Growers and Wine Producers Commission offers tasting sessions for local wines and products from the state as well as live music from local artists.

 

Pittsburgh Beerfest

Held during both the summer and the winter, the Pittsburgh Beerfest celebrates the greatest craft beer from both the city and the country. Over the two evenings you can try craft brews from more than 120 breweries from Pittsburgh and throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

 

Sacramento Beer week

This fun festival - starting on May 11 this year - is a chance to sample beers made by more than 50 local breweries operating in and around this Californian city. Many of them source their ingredients locally, giving these local beers truly unique flavours. At Sacramento Beer Week you can try the best beers from breweries in the Sacramento region as well as from all over California.

 

Collaboration Fest

One of America’s most creative beer festivals, Collaboration Fest in Denver, Colorado, showcases beers that come from collaborations between two or more breweries from around the state, country and world. Discover more than 100 beer projects created by more than 150 participating breweries that are members of the Colorado Brewers Guild. Each beer has its own story and you’ll be trying these beers for the first time at the March festival.

 

San Francisco International Beer Festival

One of the biggest annual San Francisco beer festivals, this event is an opportunity to try out more than 150 beers. On this one-day April event, you’ll find a wide selection of beers from local, national and international breweries as well as food samples from top local restaurants and food trucks. 

 

Avocado & Margarita Street Festival

This fun September event in Morro Bay, California, gives you ca chance to sip a wide variety of margaritas and cocktails while celebrating the California Central Coast’s particularly tasty type of avocado. This years’ margarita menu you’ll find an Original Lime Margarita, a Jalapeno Margarita and Blood Orange Margarita. Expect street food, live music, avocado-themed dishes and the chance for guests to win a year supply of avocados!

 

WhiskeyTown USA

Discover more than 200 varieties of whiskey at this three-day whiskey celebration in May in Portland, Oregon. There’s also with live music, delicious food and a prohibition-inspired cigar lounge.

 

Chesapeake Crab & Beer Festival

This unique festival in late June in Baltimore, Maryland, offers an exciting ‘all you care to taste’ crab and beer experience. Pick one of two sessions - 11-3pm or 5pm-9pm - pick up your complementary refillable beer mug. Visitors get four hours to eat all the crabs they can handle, offered six crabs at a time, per person. 

 

Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival

This upmarket event in Pebble Beach, California, in April offers live cooking demos, expert-led talks as well as wine and food pairings. Set in the magnificent Inn at Spanish Bay it’s the chance to try  delicacies from 20 of the weekend’s top chefs and wines from 100 of the world’s top producers.

 

Boulder City Beerfest

More than 30 breweries will showcase their brews at the Annual Boulder Beerfest at Wilbur Square Park in the heart of Boulder City, Nevada. Hosted by the Boulder Dam Brewing Company, the event features live music and food.
