Our MD, recently visited Michigan and, like many travellers, assumed Mackinac Island would be a wonderful day trip.

He couldn't have been more wrong.

Once the last ferry departed, the island revealed a completely different side of itself. Quiet streets, horse-drawn carriages, spectacular sunsets, peaceful waterfront walks and a pace of life that feels as though it's been frozen in time made Mackinac Island one of the standout highlights of his entire journey.
