Visit New England in the Autumn Fall

New England is an amazing area of the USA to visit. New England is made up of 6 separate states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, and each state offers something different for visitors to enjoy. There are many destinations within New England, but some of our personal favourites include Boston, Cape Cod, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Bar Harbor, the White Mountains National Forest, and Newport Rhode Island.

Boston is a city rich in Revolutionary War history with an amazing harbour and fantastic seafood- it is often the most popular of our New England holidays. Cape Cod is home to beautiful coastal towns, fabulous beaches with golden sands and great boutique shops and restaurants. Nantucket Island is a charming New England community with a rich seafaring history, from its time as a whaling port, that is evident across the island. Martha’s Vineyard is a quintessential New England community made-up of six towns that offer fabulous colonial architecture, beautiful rugged coastline and amazing seafood. Bar Harbor in Maine is great for those who love the outdoors and hiking but also those who want to go whale watching and sample some of Maine’s infamous lobster. The White Mountains National Forest is an area of pristine wilderness that really comes alive during the Fall / Autumn months when the leaves turn a bright yellow, orange, green, and brown. Finally, Newport Rhode Island takes you to a time long forgotten, the Gilded Age, with its fabulous historic mansions.
