5 of our Favourite Harvest Host locations

1. Fly Creek Cider Mill & Orchard - Cooperstown, NY This is one of the best Harvest Host locations overall, excellent for families, sports fans, outdoor enthusiasts, and leaf peepers. The historic cider mill is 10 minutes from the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown and offers tons of on-site activities.  Relax or play games on the lawn, sample apples and cider, stock up on gourmet goodies, feed ducks in the pond, and treat yourself to the snack bar.
2. Historic Auto Attractions - Roscoe, IL Calling all car enthusiasts! Stay at this host location near the Wisconsin/Illinois border for a truly unique camping experience.  You’ll find everything from presidential limousines and memorabilia to Wild West stagecoaches to cars from movies including Ghostbusters and Back to the Future… and much more! The museum is open every day but Sunday and can accommodate several big rigs.
3. The Great Redwood Trail Outpost - Alderpoint, CA This northern California host location is on a remote family-run cattle ranch just 15 minutes from Humboldt Redwoods State Park.  Guests can pre-arrange a number of outdoor activities, including horseback or ATV rides, guided trips to the Lost Coast, river floats, kayaking, and more. There are also a variety of RV sites for different needs and interests, including some closer to the Starlink Wi-Fi, some with better views, and some near the pond.
4. Get Lost Tours - Terlingua, TX If Big Bend National Park is on your bucket list (it should be!) and you like getting off the beaten path, this is one of the best Harvest Host locations for you.  The region is an International Dark Sky Reserve with ultra-dark, crystal-clear skies, so be sure to spend some time outdoors after dark! Big Bend is conveniently about an hour away, and there’s plenty of hiking and adventuring in between the two.
5. Summer Crush Vineyard & Winery - Fort Pierce, FL About one hour north of West Palm Beach, this is one of those Harvest Host locations you’ll never want to leave! Guests enjoy frequent live music, yard games including disc golf, a lending library, quick access to the beach, and sampling unique Muscadine wines.  Fort Pierce is home to very nice beaches, the National Navy SEAL Museum, and excellent manatee viewing spots (especially in the winter!).
Contact your local tour operator for rates, availability and how to book.
