Austin Beer Trail 2 Day Itinerary

Day 1
Lunch: Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co. offers live music, crave-worthy pizza and craft beers. Black Star Co-op is a people-powered brewery in central Austin offering a savory menu of quality bites and cooperatively designed beers.
Activities: Rent a kayak from the Rowing Dock, hike the Barton Creek Greenbelt or climb at the world’s largest bouldering gym, the Austin Bouldering Project. Hop on a food and beer tour like Austin Eats Food Tours, Austin Brewery Tours, Twisted Texas Tours.
Beer gardens: Relax at St. Elmo Brewing Company with live music and comfort food from the Soursop trailer. Experience the best sunset over Lake Travis at award-winning Oasis Texas Brewing Company.
Quality bites and local brews: Play ping-pong at Easy Tiger, a German-inspired, creek-side beer garden and café. Rainey Street’s Craft Pride is home to a huge selection of local and Texan beers, and enjoy the Detroit-style pizza from the Via 313 food trailer.
Live music: Boot scoot at iconic dancehalls like Little Longhorn Saloon, Broken Spoke and the White Horse. Soak up the hottest homegrown local music in the Red River Cultural District.
Day 2
Breakfast: Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden pairs live music and 100+ beers on tap, like Zilker Brewing Co.’s Coffee Milk Stout. Head to Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches for Czech-style kolaches with a Texas twist and a great selection of local and national craft brews.
Breweries and sights: Take a free brewery tour at Jester King Brewery and don't miss Last Stand Brewing Co.and Treaty Oak Distilling. Head to Pedernales Falls State Park for a day hike before stopping in to Dripping Springs’ Twisted X Brewing Co.
Mid-day fun: Alamo Drafthouse’s movie theatre is home to a rotating selection of local taps and a great menu of artisan snacks. Visit Blue Owl Brewing to sample a selection of innovative sour-mashed beers.
Local legends: Austin Beerworks is a true staple of the Austin brewing scene. Try hand-crafted Belgian-styled ales at award-winning Adelbert’s Brewery along with a family-friendly atmosphere and patio games.
