Small Town Charm

A short 8 miles north of Ithaca on the west side of Cayuga Lake, Trumansburg charms visitors with cozy restaurants, quaint B&Bs, and eclectic shops. Home to Taughannock Falls State Park, GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance, Trumansburg Farmers Market, and more, no trip to Ithaca is complete without a visit to Trumansburg.
On a 2 mile strip of Main Street, visit:

2.    New York Pizzeria- A village staple for over 20 years.
3.    Atlas Bowl- A social dining destination, serving elevated comfort food, cocktail bar with local selections, and old-school bowling in a lounge setting.  Seasonally on Wednesdays, the chef visits the TBurg Farmers Market and creates a Locavore Special using the purchased local goods of the day.
4.    Gimme! Coffee- An espresso bar with organic teas, pastries, and locally roasted coffee, check out the outdoor nook overlooking a gorge stream.
5.    Juniper Hill B&B- Romantic, luxurious rooms appointed with fine art and antiques, the beautifully restored 1920s Colonial Revival mansion is a short walk to Main St.  The Gallery at Juniper Hill specializes in fine American Impressionist paintings from the early 20th Century. At least 100 works are displayed throughout the mansion, representing American and Finger Lakes artists and all are for sale.  Enjoy the gallery when you stay, or arrange a visit by appointment.
