DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau

Located minutes from O'Hare International Airport offering multiple daily direct flights to and from the UK, Chicago's DuPage County introduces visitors to a classic Americana experience. Its 38 communities feature welcoming town centers, locally owned restaurants, and a relaxed suburban atmosphere. The county also provides easy access via three commuter rails to Chicago's iconic downtown attractions and museums.

DuPage is home to some of the most recognizable names in American culture and history. Medinah Country Club is the only golf club in the world to have hosted the U.S. Open, the PGA Championship, the Ryder Cup and the 2026 Presidents Cup, which takes place from 22 to 27 September.

Route 66 contributes another layer of classic Americana as the country celebrates its 100th anniversary. Travelers can experience this history on the beloved Mother Road.

Dining reflects both classic American culture and global cuisine. Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse and Ditka's Restaurant honor legendary Chicago sports personalities, while the county features a variety of places to eat and drink, from comfort food favorites to international cuisine inspired by cultures from around the world.
