Craft Breweries -The craft brew scene has exploded in Georgia, with local breweries, brew pubs & growler shops popping up across the state on a regular basis. Visitors to the big cities & small towns alike can stop into the local brewery for a tour & a sampling of Georgia’s unique local flavors. Visitors can also experience Georgia’s wineries, distilleries and – of course – moonshineries.

Georgia Waterways - From magnificent mountain headwaters to sparkling salty seas, Georgia has a water experience for every skill level. In fact, the state offers so many different aquatic adventures – from a serene drift to a rollicking whirl. Paddle the North Georgia Water Trail, Chattooga River, Altmaha River or around the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge & around Tybee Island. Raft the longest urban whitewater course in the world. Or discover a local swimming hole, perhaps beneath one of the many waterfalls throughout north Georgia.

The Great Outdoors - Georgia is full of spectacular outdoor adventures to spice up a vacation. Zipline through the trees of north Georgia and several of Georgia’s popular state parks. Join the Georgia State Parks Muddy Spokes Club & check out mountain bike trails, ranging from light trails through the forests to challenging courses down mountains & into spectacular canyons. Check out the state’s off-highway vehicle trails & enjoy dirt biking mere minutes away from incredible Antebellum architecture or major shopping meccas. Or strap on your backpack for a scenic hike to your new favourite camping spot – that camping spot might just be a yurt or a treehouse.
