Port of Seattle

Out to make waves, the Port of Seattle showcases Seattle as the Gateway for cruises to Alaska combining these with pre and post cruise itineraries to experience Washington state’s urban excitement, national parks, rainforests, volcanic mountains and wild Pacific Ocean beaches.

Our cruise season runs from April to October with major cruise lines offering 7-day roundtrip itineraries to explore the wonders of ‘The Last Frontier’ including: Carnival Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Oceania Cruises and Royal Caribbean International.

Taste bud tempting cuisine, award-winning wines and delicious home-roasted coffee are all part of a Seattle experience. The city’s walkable downtown and array of unique neighbourhoods offer world-class hotels and restaurants, vibrant arts and cultural institutions and signature attractions such as the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden & Glass and the USA’s oldest farmers’ market, Pike Place Market.

Washington state is the ideal fly/drive destination - a state of spectacular contrasts. With pristine, little populated wide-open spaces - nature abounds! Explore our three national parks (Mt. Rainier / Olympic / North Cascades), old-growth forests, historic towns, driftwood-strewn beaches and wildlife spotting – think bald eagles, Roosevelt deer, sea lions and whales.

With over 1,000 vineyards, Washington is the second largest wine producing state in the USA, following California.  The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is connected by direct non-stop flights in under 9.5 hours from the UK.
