Wild Florida

In 2010, Wild Florida set out to preserve one of the few pieces of private property on Lake Cypress in the Headwaters of the Florida Everglades. With an eye on polishing one of the jewels that is a throwback to what Florida used to be like, Wild Florida gives Orlando visitors and local residents a glimpse of what it’s like to explore the wild side of Florida.

In our Gator Park, we have over 200 animals on display, including exotic animals like sloths, lemurs, and crocodiles, just to name a few. We have a walk-in bird aviary with pheasants, parrots, and other birds from all over the world. Our animal keepers are very knowledgeable about the habits and history of the animals in our Gator Park.

Our Drive-thru Safari travels down four miles of dirt terrain, so you can see native and exotic animals, typically only seen on TV. The fun doesn’t stop after your excursion! Just outside the Drive-thru Safari trail, get face to face with our giraffe family members and feed them!

While you are feasting on all this natural beauty, we have something to delight another one of your senses. Visit our restaurant, The Chomp House Grill, to enjoy awesome barbecue, burgers, and local favorite meals! Plus, try our Swamp Slushy – a delicious blend of mango, orange, and passion fruit.
