Cincy Region is set to shine this autumn as BLINK, the nation’s largest immersive art event, returns from 8–11 October 2026, with British Airways now operating six flights a week from London making it even easier for UK travellers to experience the city in a whole new light. BLINK® is a free event designed to be accessible for all, with viewing areas that support mobility needs.
Taking place just once every two years, BLINK spans more than 35+ city blocks through the urban core of Cincinnati, Ohio and Covington, Kentucky. Over four nights, streets, buildings and public spaces across both cities become a canvas for large-scale projection mapping, illuminated murals and interactive light installations, with 92 artists from 20 countries taking part in the 2026 event.
The last BLINK, held in 2024, welcomed more than two million visitors, with approximately 19% travelling from outside the Cincy Region and attendees representing 15 countries.
BLINK offers visitors a unique way to discover Cincy Region after dark. The pedestrian-friendly event is divided into five zones, so visitors can spend an evening in one area or explore several over the course of the festival. With a few exceptions, each night features the same shows and art installations, giving visitors the freedom to discover different areas of the city at their own pace.
The 2026 line-up brings together both new and returning talent, with 47 artists making their BLINK debut alongside 46 returning artists, including 40 international artists. BLINK’s creative legacy also lives on beyond the four-night festival, with more than 70 murals created over the past decade, including 56 permanent works as of 2024. These include Danke, a mural designed by British-born artist Shantell Martin for BLINK 2022 in the Findlay Market neighbourhood.
New for 2026 is Ready, Set, BLINK!, an evolution of the event’s traditional parade kick-off. Taking place around TQL Stadium from 4–9pm on 8 October, the immersive opening-night block party will feature live music, activities and interactive installations, alongside opportunities for visitors to create their own wearable light art.
