Stay in Kissimmee during FIFA World Cup 2026

The city of Kissimmee, the Vacation Home Capital of the World®, is ready to welcome tens of thousands of international football fans to Central Florida next summer. Starting on 15th June 2026, neighbouring Miami Stadium will host seven games at the biggest ever FIFA World Cup, including the third-place, bronze final match.
Kissimmee is perfectly placed for football fans to watch some of the highly anticipated matches in Miami and also enjoy some Central Florida relaxation and the world-renowned attractions.
Stay with friends and family in a Kissimmee vacation home and save money:
Visitors can jump on the Brightline Train to a match in Miami, then return to escape the crowds and come back to a home away from home in Kissimmee. There are over 30,000 homes in Kissimmee, from two-bedroom condos to 15-bedroom mega mansions, meaning couples, families and groups of friends will all find the perfect accommodation for them. There are a variety of homes available for all different group sizes and requirements. Most vacation homes come with their own private pool, and many boast themed rooms, games rooms, hot tubs, cinema rooms and more.
Vacation homes offer excellent value, particularly against Miami hotel rates during FIFA World Cup, and many are located within resorts like Reunion Resort, Margaritaville Orlando Resort & Championsgate, offering facilities including water parks, golf courses, spas and restaurants. Save money by choosing a vacation home; Kissimmee homes can work out considerably cheaper as the more people in the home, the less the cost per person. Fill the rooms up and fill the fridge up to save money on dining out. Kissimmee homes are popular, especially during the summer holidays so book early to avoid disappointment. Most management companies offer welcome packs and can even do food shopping before guests arrive. Many resorts also offer free shuttles to the main theme parks, saving on Uber/taxis, car rental and parking costs.  Booking theme park adventures in advance is the way to get the best deals on park passes.
Stress-free Brightline rail service from Kissimmee to Miami:
Brightline Trains, the only provider of modern, eco-friendly, intercity rail in America, unveiled its highly anticipated Brightline Orlando Station at Orlando International Airport (MCO) in 2023. With Brightline’s signature yellow and spacious lounges, the station is the perfect backdrop for a new era of passenger rail that connects two of the fastest-growing regions in the state: Central and South Florida. The Orlando Brightline station is approximately 20 minutes from most vacation homes in Kissimmee, and visitors can purchase return tickets between Kissimmee and Miami from approximately $32 ($44) per person. The direct train takes approximately three and a half hours and there are food and beverage stations on-board, comfortable seating, free WIFI and charging ports, making a relaxing experience for all guests. Those wanting to drive to Miami can hire a car and drive from Kissimmee to Miami. The journey should take between three-four hours, but given the number of visitors expected to attend the matches, the train is recommended.
Thrill v Chill in Kissimmee:
Staying in Kissimmee allows visitors to experience the thrill of FIFA World Cup matches, but also time to chill and recharge in comfortable surroundings. Kissimmee encourages visitors to make the most of their time in the USA by adding a stay in Kissimmee before or after matches in Miami, Atlanta or in other host destinations across the USA. Visitors can enjoy an airboat ride on the Everglades, Kissimmee is located at the headwaters, enjoying other sporting activities and matches, take a day or two to visit the world-famous theme parks such as Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World, cycle round Celebration or enjoy the weekly historic car show at Old Town.
