Dollywood kicks off 2019 - and the parks 34th season - with what
promises to be the park's biggest year yet!
Wildwood Grove (Now Open): The 2019
season opening of Dollywood brings with it a new $37 million park extension -
the largest addition to Dollywood in the park’s history. The addition of
Wildwood Grove sees a combined 11 thrilling new attractions, award-winning
entertainment and fabulous festivals added.
Dollywood’s Barbeque & Bluegrass (May 24 to June 2nd): 10 toe-tapping days of music served up alongside some of the
tastiest barbeque anywhere! The festival features an impressive line-up of bluegrass
talent including performances by the likes of Grammy and International
Bluegrass Music Association winners. With tantalizing treats from Dollywood’s
award-winning chefs and the sweet sounds of award-winning bluegrass, Dollywood has
created the perfect recipe to kick off the summer!
Dollywood’s Summer Celebration (June 22nd to Aug 4th): Enjoy more thills and excitement with extended opening hours this
summer. The celebrations give you the chance to ride Dollywood’s world-class
roller coasters, including Lightning Rod and Wild Eagle well into the night! Each
evening ends with a spectacular fireworks extravaganza that lights up the night
sky. High-energy music and shows like Dreamland Drive-In make dancing in the
aisles acceptable and brings out the kid in everyone.
Dollywood’s Harvest Festival (Sept 27th to Nov 2nd): Fabulous family fun with a new Smoky Mountain tradition, Great
Pumpkin LumiNights. Open until 9pm every night; enjoy the glow of thousands of
carved pumpkins throughout the park. The festival will also feature several
hundred performances by award-winning Southern gospel artists making it the
genre’s largest event in America, as well as performances by Grammy nominees
The Isaacs and Ernie Haase. The perfect opportunity for families to enjoy the
experiences of a Smoky Mountain harvest!
Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas (Nov 9th to Jan 4th): Dollywood has been named as one of the worlds best theme parks to
celebrate the Christmas festivities for more than a decade. This year the park will
be filled with more than five million Christmas lights, elaborate decorations
and showcase award-winning Christmas shows like It’s a Wonderful Life and Christmas
in the Smokies. Savour holiday-themed treats and get in to the Christmas
spirit with all the family to create memories to last a lifetime. Dollywood truly captures the essence of Christmas!
