Miami and Miami Beach Elevate Rainbow Spring LGBTQ+ Program with Global Expansion

The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) has announced the return of Rainbow Spring. The annual LGBTQ+ program, now in its third year, runs from 01 March to 30 June. Diversity and inclusivity remain at the core of Miami and Miami Beach, and the Rainbow Spring initiative continues to grow and provide LGBTQ+ visitors with a dynamic array of unique programming and promotional offers, enhancing their experience throughout the spring season. This year, the GMCVB is once again joining forces with long-time partner, Expedia, and expanding the program’s international reach through an exciting new partnership with Booking.com. This collaboration will target key markets including Madrid, Berlin, Amsterdam, Milan, and Brussels, further cementing Greater Miami and Miami Beach as a global hub for LGBTQ+ travellers.
“Greater Miami and Miami Beach takes pride in being a welcoming community for LGBTQ+ travellers year-round,” said Dan Rios, GMCVB’s Director of LGBTQ+ Tourism Marketing. “With Rainbow Spring, we continue to offer meaningful experiences to ensure our LGBTQ+ visitors feel seen, celebrated, and represented when they visit.”
In past years, the GMCVB’s partnership with Expedia has propelled the Rainbow Spring program to remarkable growth, generating 27.8K total room nights, a 3.3% increase over 2023, and USD 17.2 million in gross bookings, resulting in an impressive 18.6% year-over-year growth. The partnership with Booking.com will leverage the platform’s extensive international network to connect travellers to taylored offers and exclusive experiences in Miami and Miami Beach, ensuring an even broader audience can discover all the destination has to offer. Bookings for the program launched on 03 February.
For comprehensive LGBTQ+ information and exclusive offers, visit the program's dedicated website at RainbowSpring.com. The site will continue to feature special discounts on hotels, restaurants, and attractions, while highlighting a vibrant array of LGBTQ+ experiences and events. Popular choices offered around the destination include live music, karaoke, trivia nights, bingo, martini nights, and sports gatherings.
Greater Miami and Miami Beach is brimming with LGBTQ+ experiences year-round, and this spring offers an exciting lineup of events for all members of the community, such as:
