Visitors to New York City this festive season can glide around one the USA's highest skating rinks.
The skates are back in action at Hudson Yards as Sky Skate Presented by Dunkin’ has returned to the indoor portion of Edge’s sky deck for a second year.
From now until January 14, guests can test their skills and on the 1,024 square foot Glice® rink, a zero-energy ecological and synthetic ice rink - with the added bonus of taking in the best views of the city.
Rising 1,131 feet and extending out 65 feet from the 100th floor of 30 Hudson Yards, Edge’s outdoor viewing area features an acrophobia-inducing glass floor, angled glass walls, and outdoor skyline steps from the 100th to 101st floors.
Edge is also home to City Climb, the highest external building climb in the world. Located atop the sky deck, City Climb challenges guests to scale the outside of a 1,200-plus-foot supertall building, then lean out from the outdoor platform at the top of the skyscraper.
Tickets include admission to Edge and complimentary skate rental.
Hudson Yards is New York’s newest neighborhood and home to more than 100 diverse shops and culinary experiences, significant public art and dynamic cultural institutions.
