train operator Rocky Mountaineer has announced a new ‘Rockies to the Red Rocks’
route in the Southwest United States in 2021. The two-day rail journey will
explore the historic and dramatically scenic route between Denver, Colorado and
Moab, Utah with an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs.

Mountaineer is also working with local hotels and operators to curate packages
so guests can explore more of Utah’s extraordinary sights beyond the train. Travelling
from Moab to Las Vegas or Salt Lake City, the extended trips include self-drive
discovery itineraries, led tours and activities that take a deeper dive into Utah’s
magnificent Mighty 5® National Parks and abundance of inspiring state parks.
Mountaineer will launch The Rockies to the Red Rocks route on August 15th
2021 with a preview season of 40 departures. Prices for the two-day trip start at
$1,250 per person, including a one-night hotel stay.
