Stateside Shopping Spree In Tax-Free Philadelphia With Opening Of New Shopping Hotspots

The new Fashion District Philadelphia opened on 19th September 2019 and travellers will be able to shop-till-they-drop at the developed East Market Retail Space when it opens in November 2019. Visitors can also peruse hip boutiques in Chestnut Hill or hit the high-end boutiques in Rittenhouse Row.
The Fashion District of Philadelphia boasts national retailers, entertainment and a dine-in movie theatre. A “Uniquely Philly” section offers visitors access to local retailers. Together with Market East, the Fashion District Philadelphia will transform the area between Philadelphia’s key neighbourhoods of Centre City and the Historic District. For more information, visit www.fashiondistrictphiladelphia.com.
The $800 million renovation of East Market is underway for the section of Philadelphia that has been called “America’s hottest retail corridor” by commercial real estate services firm JLL. The 4.3-acre renovated retail space aims to transform this primary east-west corridor into a dynamic full block of shops, popular restaurants, office spaces and two brand-new luxury apartment towers. For more information, visit www.eastmarket.com.
Rittenhouse Row is a part of Philadelphia’s upmarket Rittenhouse neighbourhood, which includes the iconic Rittenhouse Square and some of the oldest establishments in the city. Visitors can enjoy upscale shopping at unique local boutiques and internationally recognised retailers plus enjoy international cuisine at highly rated dining establishments. Shoppers in Philadelphia can peruse hip, independent boutiques in the district of Chestnut Hill, which is known as the city’s garden district. Local gems stock women’s clothing, jewellery, work from local artists; and the Market at the Fareway, is a modern farmers’ market meets country store.
