National Cherry Blossom Festival, 30 March – 13
annual festival celebrates the arrival of the Cherry Blossoms into the Capital
Region, which were a gift from Japan to highlight the enduring friendship
between the two countries. The festival takes place along the National Mall and
around the Tidal Basin and is packed with fun-filled events and parades.

Memorial Day at Arlington National Cemetery, 27 May 2019
Honour lives lost through combat at Arlington National
Cemetery and experience the National Memorial Day Parade and Concert. A major
service will be held at the Memorial Amphitheatre and visitors will be moved by
the full honour wreath laying at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
