The ultimate country music beach party is back – with big names and barefoot vibes
---------------------------------------------
If you're dreaming of a summer escape filled with sunshine, live music and laid-back beach vibes, mark your calendar for Barefoot Country Music Fest, taking over Wildwood, New Jersey from 19-22 June 2025.
This beachfront blowout brings some of the biggest names in country music - Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Rascal Flatts - to a classic boardwalk town packed with retro charm. And this year, the iconic Grand Ole Opry brings a taste of Nashville to the Jersey Shore, honouring its 100th birthday celebrations with a special oceanside showcase of rising stars through its Opry NextStage programme.
While general admission is already sold out for 2025, Super VIP passes remain - ideal for those wanting to celebrate and party in ultimate style. A flight across the Atlantic into Newark, followed by a scenic drive south, and you’ll be dancing barefoot on the Jersey Shore in no time.
And if you can’t make it this year, be sure to mark it in your 2026 calendar - when the USA celebrates 250 years of independence and football’s biggest competition, the FIFA World Cup, arrives on American shores. It’s going to be a party and a half.
But this trip is more than just a celebration of country music. While you’re here, stroll the neon-lit Wildwood Boardwalk, ride vintage amusements, or unwind on wide, sandy beaches with sunbathing and dolphin spotting. Head 20 minutes south to Cape May, a postcard-pretty town known for its Victorian B&Bs, local wineries, and whale-watching cruises. Or venture up the coast to Atlantic City, where bold flavours and beachside nightlife await.
